I am a Muslim.

In Islam, it is forbidden to compare God with any of His creation. Allah (God) created every living beings, and attributed them with gender, male & female. So it is completely a feature of creatures.
Allah can't be compared with His creation.

In chapter 112, Qur'an, Allah talks about Himself:

[112:1] Say: He, Allah, is One.
[112:2] Allah is He on Whom all depend.
[112:3] He begets not, nor is He begotten.
[112:4] And none is like Him.

===============================================
TO: Teletubbie06: Using "He" is different. It is used to honor the Creator. It is not a regular "he".

since god is make believe and we live in a mostly paternalistic society, god is male. in some more tribal societies where women have important figurehead roles, god can be female. most modern people today that still have to believe in god, would probably think its politically incorrect to say male, so they will say some billsh*t about god being a force or whatever that has no sex.

Wakeup people!!! God is man-made!

god is nor male or female , he is beyond that .(i am a muslim)
because being male or female means one is not complete and
needs the other gender.while god is complete , he is perfect.
he has no needs.
and gender is something defined based one`s part in the reproduction process. while god has no son or daughter and he is eternal.and he creates, he just say BE and it is.
the reson i say "he" is because the arabic language like french
has masculine and feminine for every word. even earth , tree ...
it is a language thing . it doesnt mean god is male!!

God is both male and female.
Sun represents the masculine and Moon represents the feminine
I never understood how people thought God was just male.

Is the Earth male or female? Is the wind male or female?

I'm sure God would have let us know a long time ago if
(he)<"literature you usally don't think about unless you have too much time on your hands," wanted us to know!

Oh, and I think "he" is all or can experience all! (The answer to your question.)

I've always believed He is male. I'm a Roman Catholic, not very serious about it, but I find it easier to believe what I've been taught than to re-think everything. I'm lazy, I can't imagine God being neither.

No human person could ever ever ever ever comprehend God. I don't care if you have a PHD in theology. Nobody can comprehend God. Us humans are to feeble minded.
