stay away from sugar and refined carbs. our bodies aren't able to process them, and they're just nutritionally dead calories. drink lots of water, eat fresh veggies and lots of fish. red meat is fine just skip all the sauce and bread. it's better to eat 5 small meals a day than 3 large ones, that way your insulin doesn't spike, and you maintain a steady source of energy.stay away from anything that says low fat, they add extra sugar to hide the taste.Americans have the worst diet in the world try international cuisine when you go out...................when eating oriental go for the brown or wild rice skip the white rice...........just use basic good common sense. good luck!!!!

Don't eat any fried food. Drink as much water as possible. Before you sit down to a meal, drink a full glass of water; it'll fill your stomach so you have less room for food.
