How much is the pay grade as a reservist vs a enlisted..

and do you still get house/dental/health benefits in the reserves

Im a reserve soldier, and NO you do not get house benefits and health benefits. You do get dental and life insurance thats it. The pay? well its about 120-150 dollars take home after taxes.

Reservists are only part time, so you don't get housing and you only get health benefits while you are activated. And your pay is based on how much you work, which is only two days a month, so it isn't much.

Unless you are in the Active Reserve then it is exactly the same as the real military.

first off, are you talking about enlisting in the reserves vs enlisting in the regular army? The pay is the same, its just that as a reservist you only work one weekend a month and two weeks a year. So you make a lot less as a reservist, unless you get activated and called up for duty, in which case you get all the same pay as a regular army, active duty soldier. Also, you only get medical care when you are called up for duty.

my hubbies a reservist. The pay depends on your time and grade. There r no benifits unless he's activated and no housing at all.

The pay is the same but you will only get paid for the two days you are at drill, as far as the benifiets you can only access them while you are on active duty.
