Well for me, something I wish upon no one is what happened when I was a teenager. I ran away from home at 14 and ended up on the streets and by the time I was 16, I had a guy who wanted to pimp me and I agreed. I had no money, no where to sleep and no food and he promised me all of that. The first night I went to the corner with my friend and watched her get into a car with a guy and drive away. That was like a mental kick in the head for me and I knew I had to get a way so I tried but the guy who was pimping me pulled me back and told me to stay where I was until a car came by. When the car came by, I begged the guy in the car to drive me to a youth shelter. I prayed the whole way there that he wasn't going to do anything to me, which he didn't. We pretty much rode in silence. When I got to the shelter, I phoned my auntie and told her what I had been doing and that I needed help and the next morning there was a ticket waiting at the bus depot for me to go and live with her. I left with the clothes on my back, never saw my friend again and never knew the name of the man who saved me. And that is something I hope no one will ever experience.
