'Haggi' I like that I assume that's more than 1 haggis? and must be more than a pair of haggis'sss?
This question has obviously been asked by one of those English fellers who wouldn't know a kilt from a sporran!
If you only want to catch a single haggis it is correct, they stay in the hills, but for many" haggi" to be caught you have to go deep into the forest!
It is indeed a great sport and one which is only surpassed by the monthly 'English bashing weekend ' which isn't confined just to Scotland , any one from all over the world can join in, its a great laugh, I really enjoy it and I'm trying to get it extended to a daily event!!
Hope this helps???

Hmmm, I was under the impression that they were captive bred due to dwindling wild stocks.
Their natural habitat, the heather covered slopes on the remotest of Scottish hillsides has been trampled down by poorly prepared visiting hillwalkers in T-shirts, shorts and carrying only a mars bar for sustanance - the sight of and sound of these ill prepared walkers causes panic & alarm in the breeding pairs making them abandon the burrow. Being small creatures with no obvious eyes or nose, they fail to return and the young, known as neeps, sadly never mature into the spicy adult form.
So, sad. We really are destroying our environment (sniff).

Are you being serious? A haggis is not an animal.
