Isn't it a little early to decide the best projects of the 21st century? There's still 94 years to go and judging by the last 94 years, there's probably some pretty cool stuff that's going to happen in the latter part.
I think the Space Elevator would be really cool. Its a giant elevator to space that would make it really easy to send things up there and back. No one's talking seriously about building it yet but I think it would be really cool.
