Strangely only China consumes cat meat.

In China and Korea, people will see dogs in cages waiting to be slaughtered (like our lobster tanks) or hanging down the butcher's hooks to be sold.

here in the philippines... i have tried dog meat before... its kinda delicious. but it's prohibited nowadays. i believe that the culture here in eating exotic foods started during the second world war... coz back then, the japanese kept on bombing the food supply, so food is really scarce... it made the people look for other unconventional meats... like dog meat, field mice, snakes, and insects.
