According to Wikipedia, the following countries eat dogs:
Burma
China (although it's becoming more limited as dogs become pets)
Korea
Indonesia
the Philippines
Switzerland (in some areas)
Vietnam
Inuit societies (where sled dogs become famine food)
Strangely only China consumes cat meat.

Many places in south-east asia, dog meat is considered a delicacy.
In China and Korea, people will see dogs in cages waiting to be slaughtered (like our lobster tanks) or hanging down the butcher's hooks to be sold.
Many restaurants specilize in and serve dog meat (and cats).

here in the philippines... i have tried dog meat before... its kinda delicious. but it's prohibited nowadays. i believe that the culture here in eating exotic foods started during the second world war... coz back then, the japanese kept on bombing the food supply, so food is really scarce... it made the people look for other unconventional meats... like dog meat, field mice, snakes, and insects.

Is eaten in China ... i comprehend that they import male Bernhardiner canines from Switzerland to apply them as "bulls" for chinese language woman canines in dogs farms, because of the fact the Swiss Bernhardiner consists of an excellent style of weight. they don't use woman Bernhardiners for breeding, because of the fact the race of Bernhardiner is expensive and of direction decrease than commercial factors the dogs meat might desire to be produced as value-helpful as achieveable. playstation : and additionally tell me acquaintances from Istanbul/Turkey that some affordable eating places proceed like this: for Jewish human beings they mustn´t serve beef. For community human beings they might desire to grant hen, which will reason hygienic issues actual whilst making waiting salads with unwashed arms. For vacationer human beings they might desire to grant livestock, it quite is costly there. So ... all everybody is served appropriate with ..... dogs meat.
