Friar Chuck, my guess is... if you can't even spell "enforce", then you probably weren't 'inforcing' many laws as a police officer.

No. That is something called a Random Act of Kindness. I've also put money in pop and vending machines so strangers can receive a treat for free.

I know it isn't much, but imagine if people did more of these "little" things...we'd spend less time hurting and killing.

Wow, ya know what...it's illegal in Cleveland too! What a racket! Section 453.02 (c) says: No person shall deposit or cause to be deposited in a parking meter any coin for the purpose of increasing or extending the parking time of any vehicle beyond legal parking time established by this chapter.

No rhyme or reason there other than monetary. Funny thing is, it doesn't say what the punishment is for depositing the money. Only what happens to you if you illegally park.

That is an 'immoral' ;law, and is to be disobeyed by any and all persons of conscience!

I also will not fire upon a village or town full of innocent civilians!

I am the arbitor of the rules of MY society, and just last Saturday, put a quarter in the meter of a car whose time was expired!

It is what I was taught, that I am responsible for the society I live in!
You would want me to be your neighbor, I make sure of that!

No government really wants to see the ire of an enraged or dis-enfranchised voter!

As a prior police officer, I have never heard about it being illegal. There may be some city ordiance about it somewhere, but I doubt if it is inforcable if someone appealed it to a higher court.

cops hate kindness in any way, shape or form.To put a dime in the meter is showing compassion, and that is prohibited.
obstruction of justic. You can be shot right on the spot for denying the chance for a cop to write a ticket.

Cause the government doesnt like it when we do favors for other people when it regards money they cant control.... can you see them trying to tax the 16 year old neighbor who babysits your kids, or the little old lady who makes you sweater so she can pay for her prescription pills. Or god forbid prostitution. What the hell is the harm in giving someone an orgasim?

They are only money hungry, they don't care who puts it in. But if you do try to fight it and go to court, the fine is usually lessened. Some cities are worth it and others are only $2.
