It depends, how long have you been dating first of all and second are you 100% sure in the relationship and have no doubts?
And did he ask for it and why ? And would he give you his password also ?
I seen alot of relationships where the guy turns out to be a player but insecure about his girlfriend and tries to check her emails. Now I am not saying your boyfriend is!!
But ask yourself the previous question and you be the judge of it.

No. Some things are meant to be private, and you would bear the legal consequences if anything went wrong - not they - because you gave them the password. They should have the password only if their name is also on the account.
