ZOROASTRIANISM is the precursor of the Hebrew religion. I should say the main precursor since there were several others from Egypt, for example. This religion taught good and evil and many of the beliefs held today by Jews and later by Christians. This goes back to the earliest days of Judaism. The Jews borrowed from Zoroastrianism which in day was a well organized religion.
