most of us dont, it only takes a few to destroy what the many have, as rockets flew over my head last night i found it difficult
to not hate those who were firing them and trying to kill my children.Letting go of fear is part the way to letting go of hate.
unfortunately not many go all the way, anyway we dont hate
each other and it begins with you and me and everybody who understands that variety is really the spice of life. think about
somebody you hate and do something good for them, but if the person whom you showed mercy went on to be a mass murderer
maybe it woud be better to kill them first, makes me wonder though, what it is we really are trying to preserve?

The intent of war is not to kill innocent people, but the military of the opposing side. However when the enemy specifically chooses to hide among civlilians, the deaths of innocent people are bound to occur.

Perhaps the best solution is to withdraw all of our troops, let Iraq collapse into civil war and let it spread throughout the region. At least then it will be primarily one relgious group against another. Hate and religion do seem to go together well...

Hatred is induced between people due to conflicts in thinking, economics, power, ethnicity, etc. When it comes to killing and specially what you called as INNOCENT PEOPLE, it is a matter of pressuring the other part and generating hatred and instability. But be sure that those killings increase the hatred and roots them deep, and so they become more difficult to remove. You cannot kill unless you have the means and facilities to do it which in politics is a grant from a higher power.

War doesn't come from hate always at least not on both sides. usually one side is trying to defend the weak or an ally. For instance In the first Gulf war Iraq attacked it's neighbor Kuwait. Just because they wanted to take over Kuwait.

In that case the Saudi Arabians , and the U.S. were protecting a little country from a bully.

In Vietnam we were trying to prevent the Communists from taking over the whole country. But we did not have support from congress and had to pull out. After the Communists took over Southern Vietnam when our troops left there were a lot of Christians executed and arrested just for being Christians. The U. S. had to take in thousands of refugees who fled the country over open Ocean in little boats just to get to freedom.

Well they must hate us bad enough cause they've killed innocent Americans and at a time when there was no war. It sad that innocent people will die, but that happens when you are at war.

because the Vietnam War women where strapping bombs to their babies and walking into a group of solders and then blowing them all up.... In war not a lot are innocent. And the ones that seem innocent are not targeted until hostile actions are taken on their part. The ones that do not bother us are not even drawn down on.

It seems as though they count for nothing doesn't it, that when the politicians decide on war they are prepared to achieve their objectives at any cost and the lives of the innocent are not a consideration.

We do not hate each others although we may have personal differences. It's leader that command forces to kill for their gain. Isn't it funny that they don't put themselves in danger, they talk the big talk but never walk it. Instead they send the plebs to do their dirty deeds while they sit in luxury and sit expensive brandy etc. There's more but I don't have the time. I hope you get the message.

Look at those US soldiers:
They're just trained to kill and they don't ask if the girl they're raping or the guy they're torturing is innocent.

Don't look for morality, either in politics or military matters.

You'll be disappointed.

The "sledgehammer principle" is foundation for both.

It's a hopeless situation, really one that made Nobel Prize winner Szent-Gyorgy despair in his 1970 "The Mad Monkey".
