I've always said, honesty is the best policy. If you tell a lie, then you have to live a long time to cover it up with more of the same. You tell the truth, it's easy to remember, you lie and you will change it each time you tell it. Most people want more money than they need to keep up with the Jone's and if they can't, they go into debt for the rest of their lives. If we live inside of our means, there is a chance we could all be equal. The simple things in life are the best. We need to enjoy life because we can't take anything with us when we leave on our final destiny.

Money is everything, without money you cannot eat food, have a roof over your head or even sleep comfortably at night. Perhaps you are extremely rich and don't realize the value and essence of money. Honesty will only get you so far, and in today's world, it is unfortunately the dishonest people like corporate CEO's who are raking in the big bucks, whilst honest hard-working people are left at minimum wage. Unfortunately, money is what makes the world go round and somehow comes more to dishonest people!

Money will buy lifestyle. Honesty in your earning money makes the money work for you better than dishonestly. Money buys food, lights, phones, clothes and stuff like that. Honestly buys you happiness and peace of mind in what you do.

I agree, but as I've grown older I've realized that honesty will unfortunately not feed you or pay your bills. One can always earn money and be honest at the same time though.

I'm guessing you're asking "why do people want to earn money honestly", because most people aren't lawbreakers, and you need money in order to survive nowadays (unless you're the kind of outdoors person who can simply live off the land, but good luck with that too).
