I have recently found out this girl likes me and she is the same age as me. I am a virgin and never done anything with a girl. The girl I started talking to is more experienced than I am and she drinks etc. I dont. She is really cool and so far we get along and I know she likes me. My question is would it be a bad idea to tell her that I've never been in a relationship? I'm afraid it would scare her away.

Why do you need to date at all? Have you taken full responsibility for all your actions and decisions in this life? Are you ready to have a permanent relationship? If not, I don't see that it makes sense to take steps toward anything permanent with anyone - and being 'more than friends' is definitely a step in that direction...

If you are ready, then you need to ask whether you guys are on the same page about the really important things. I am very worried, for example, about this girl's drinking, and especially about the 'etc.'. Alcohol impairs your judgment; I won't even ask what etc. means. What I'm getting at here is that she doesn't sound like she's likely to be faithful to you.

So I think you're doing the right thing by saying nothing for now. If you do find she's likely to be faithful, ready for a permanent relationship, responsible, etc. (or if you find someone else who fits those qualifications in the future), let's say, if she's the right person she at very least won't blow you off if you let her know how you feel and what you think about the direction your relationship could take (if she's willing).

Hmm..This is a tough question. I would have no problem dating a guy who had never dated before. I think it would be less stressful because they have just about no expectations. But thats just the kind of girl I am. This girl that you like....is another case entirely. You said that she drinks etc. So she's a party girl? Are you REALLY sure that's who you want to be dating? There are girls out there that are less wild. I think if this girl does like you too, then go for it. You can casually mention that you have never really dated before and it shouldn't be THAT much of a big deal. That is, unless she's looking for someone more experienced then her. But the only way to find that out is to wait and see. But anyways. Just remember to be true to you. Getting smashed at parties hardly counts as a "date". There are tons of girls out there. So don't rush it..k. Good luck!!!

It might not scare her away, but I don't think telling her is a good idea.

To ask her out, don't say anything too fancy, or anything, just say something like:

"I'm going to the (movies) on (friday) at (7:00) and I think it would be fun if you came along."
Remember to tell her that you're going already, since this adds a carefree ring to it.

Message me if you want to know more, I have tons of info.

Good luck.
