yeah, especially as Tony Blair is doing such a crap job at the moment. I'm sure if Scotland got to keep all the North Sea Oil money from the last 20 years, it would be us ruling them

No Scottish people aren't embarrassed, they are bitter and twisted. I think for a comparable situation look at the Quebecois(?) in Canada. I once had to do a geography project where I walked around the streets of Edinburgh asking people if they felt Scottish, British, or European. The very insinuation that they were British was enough to anger them! Regional government spending in the UK is actually done by this really outdated formula that an economist in the 1970s came up with. It means that Scotland gets LOADS of money. Scottish kids dont pay for tuition, younger scottish kids have amazing playgrounds. But still they *****. Scottish people normally support whoever england is playing sports AGAINST, because they are so hateful. They want to be an independent country. lol, I'd love to see them try!

Not so much embarrassed as disgusted. The Scottish feel towards the English as the U.S. feels about the French. The Scottish feel that the English are stuck up and think they are better then everyone else. The French act the same way. My theory about the French is that their language is too limited to express themselves verbally so they have to act out their feelings. Their dictionary is as thin as onion paper. They are actually stupid so they have to limit the amount of topics to teach themselves. So they primarily have to teach only about French and not about how to interact with other people. This is also the feeling that the Scottish have towards the English. I work with English and Scotts. I have first hand knowledge on their topics of discussions and I swear it is like hearing my own opinions out loud but about the French. Can you tell I don't like French people?

Apparently you missed the time where the King of Scotland became King on England. So I think it is the other way around. Actually the Queen now is German and Scotish.
