She's not supposed to be anything besides your sister. If she's legal, and safe, she can let her freak flag fly any way she wants.

She is your sister and she has confided in you for your opinion.if it was my sister I would simply tell her that is her life and if she wants to explore then it is her right to do so.I would however advise her to be carefull and to pick another woman carefully someone she can trust and who is not going to treat her any different if it doesn't work out for her.I would also let her know that i would be there for her no matter what happens.

Most girls entertain the thought of sexual exploration with another girl, and it's quite normal. She should be careful and treat it with sensitivity. And don't fret if she starts a serious relationship, after all, it is her life.

Say what you feel. If you think it is not appropriate...tell her. If you think its ok then tell her. Her age is important in the decision. Is she ready for all of the mental consequences of this action. Does she understand safe sex. Give her the information she needs to make the best decision. She might need to be talking with parents.

Assuming she's of legal age to make decisions on her own, that's really her choice. As long as she experiments in a safe manner, that's really all that matters in respect to your involvement and support as a sibling.

What do you mean by "supposed" to be straight? Is this something she's said, or something you just expect of her?
Your sister can experiment any way she wants (safety caveats apply, but she can probably look after herself) -- her sexuality really isn't any of your business (unless she's into incest too).

your sister is going thru a stage of "wondering"
my sister and i both went thru this stage
it's hard to know what to say, but it's best if she explore's and find's out on her own, rather then die wondering..
Support her and let her know that you are there for her when she needs a shoulder to lean on or cry on.
