In english you do that when you are talking about some thing with respect and much love .. like a pet .. or so .. that's definitely how Bush is fond of Israel and feeling so deep inferiority towards its high zionist and semetism values .. which is actually highkacking most of the new christian real belives and faith in GOD ..

It does appear that bush in his reference to Israel as "herself" is trying to show the world the fragile nature of Israel.

Bush is incapable of thought. He relies on Cheney and Rove to tell him what he thinks. Maybe without Cheney there, he "thought" Israel was his girlfriend.
