I hope you are at least 18 y/o or you shouldn't be meeting any one. The safest way is to meet him in a very public place. Don't drink alcohol, have your own vehicle and enough money so that
if you don't like him, don't trust him, or he turns out to be a perv;
you can get out of the public place, alone.
The safest thing is to not meet him and keep him as an on-line friend.

have fun, remember just 'cause ya'll met on-line it doesn't mean you agreed to Fornicate repeatedly upon meeting. Take it like you just met someone on the job our at a friends and you agreed to go out on a date- in other words get to know him, real good before giving it ALL up.

I wouldn't myself. Just be EXTRA carefull. Try going with a friend on the first date, if possible.
