There are so many different ways to describe cheating as it could be in a game, on your girlfriend when they find some one else to have sex with,it a race if you take a shortcut , in a school exam if you have your answer written down on something and you read them and copy your answer on the test, ther are other descriptions as well cheating doesn't get you any where in life .

Cheating's primary meaning to me is obtaining a desired result in ways that break the rules.

Betraying a good frienship. Doing something that will hurt them emotionally but behind their back. Doing something that will break the bond of trust behind the back of one they profess to love. DOing something that they do not want to be done to them themselves. They are selfish, they want the cake and eat it too.

as ally mcbeal once said.. it is considered cheating when one is emotionally attracted to another person (besides his/her partner). even if they do not do any physical act together, it is still considered cheating.
a worse form of cheating compared to sex..

cheating means not being faitful to your spouce and lacks[morals] in marrage . as well dating someone who cant be trusted . my opion?
