Biomimetik.. I did say extremists especially Islamic because they seem to be the ones causing all the trouble latley.

I know other major religions have done bad things in time gone by, But troble rarely occurs from them nowadays, Only Islamic extremists Think that its ok to go around murdering innocents, So i suggest you get your mind in tune and up to date with modern times before you go telling me to buy any stupid books.

Ive got one for you... Idiots guide to being an IDIOT.

Maria G.... Is it what "your media tells you"?? Do you think that they are not doing it?? Oh yes they are not doing anything wrong. Or are you one of them?

Leprechaun... Believe I have no hate of muslims.. what i do hate is the people who kill innocents claiming that it is the way of the prophet and islam in general.

Why do they do this.. Our goverments arnt telling us anything that we dont already know, These recent wars came from people from your religion attacking innocent westerners therfore you cant blame us for starting them. We simply were protecting ourselves. Something that the extremists cannot claim to be doing.

If you got some people trying to take you out of your house .. and some big guys are helping them to do that .. and you got to defend before your properties and dignity ..

The world since it was ever created is driven by the religious conflicts .. even if it takes different masks or different names in different times .. it remains the religion which drives both theists and atheists into sometimes political combats and some other times into life taking wars

War is a reduced shape of extremity coz man never kills unless before his own belief or own property ( What he thinks is from his property)..

What's happening from some Muslim extremists are just exaggerated shapes of reactions and sometimes over reactions, which shouldn't mislead any wise thinker to find out and explore more why those people were frustrated to panic. to loose their minds and their lives ..?? of course they will search for ethical support from religion and logic .. but that's how men were since the beginning of the earth life till the end of times ..

The winners in all those combats, wars and conflicts are those who are able to keep their rationality away from self centered thoughts and see the light at end of tunnles .. those who leads the mankind away from the craziness of fanatism.

Why especially Islamic extremists? Why does any religious extremist want to force their religion onto others? Remember the crusades? The Christians went on holiday to slay the infidels. So it's nothing new. And it doesn't even need to be religious. It can even be ideological like the nazis in the second world war.

Humans strongly tend to divide people into two groups because of our instinctive social behaviour to do so; the 'us' and 'them' group. The 'us' group is more trustworthy and believable. Extremist drive this notion, well, into the extreme, because they believe society in a whole is hostle to them. So in their eyes the 'them' group is the source of evil.

That's what your goverment shows you to justify the things they are doing in middle east. Terrosrism has no religion. Killing innocent people is not accepted in any of the religions. Islam is one of them. And unlike the lies you are hearing and believing wrongly, islam never tells people to force someone to convert or otherwise kill etc. That's a big lie.

I,as myself, and as a muslim, think that killing innocents, whatever they are is unacceptable.

Try to see the world, put your hate aside and think.

I suspect 2 reasons:
misinterpretation and secret agenda.

Some of these extremists' acts were done only in name of a religion. History has many instances where individuals and empires using religions to gather people for wars or political motives e.g. crusade.

Know what you believe to avoid being manipulated.

Fear is a common tactic to coerce, and killing has found to be very effective in inducing fear.

Yep, do we see good, Christian Americans putting their religion into other peoples lives eg. onto money, in public buildings & oaths & schools?

Well, yeah.

I presume it is for the same reasons, the two sects are not all that dissimilar IMO, so probably to

1) Demonstrate their holiness & devotion

2) Send the message to those who don't believe to repent and become of their religion. Gotta save their soul you see.

That is about it.

I am a Christian, I don't want to FORCE my beliefs on anyone, but I like to share my beliefs with others.

As for Muslims, their Koran (book) tells that that they should kill or convert all non-Muslims, make a Muslim world, and then they believe there will be peace somehow????

The Noble QUR’AN:

2:256

Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects Evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.

The BIBLE:

(2 Thessalonians 2:3 NASB/WEY).

"Let no one in any way deceive you, for that day cannot come without the coming of the apostasy first, and the appearing of the man of sin, the son of perdition."

Deuteronomy 13:6-10:

If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which [is] as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; [Namely], of the gods of the people which [are] round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the [one] end of the earth even unto the [other] end of the earth; Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: BUT THOU SHALT SURELY KILL HIM; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. And thou shalt STONE HIM WITH stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
