Why is it ok for Isreal to KILL over 500 civilians and UN officers and this is ok?

yeah you all say it's not ok but no one is doing anything about it....this is not the first time Isreal has bombed and invaded lebanon....check your history before you answer the question...the people of lebanon are not responsible for a small group

It is not okay, it is sick and an uhhuman thing to do!

And to ever thinks it is okay they should open there eyes and watch the news more, and watch the number of children dying or DEAD!

The media in the west does not portray the real things that are happening there, people just turn the blind eye and follow stereotype about Middle Easterners.

For every ones information Lebanon is NOT ONLY made of Arabs and Muslims! There are as many Christians as there are Muslims, Westerns, Indians. Arabs, British, African And there are also Drooz!

Imagine if it was your Mother or Father or one of your dear and close family members stuck there, or even found dead under the rubble of a whole building!?

Just open your eyes and look at this!! Is this a justified action towards kidnapping 2 soldiers? for this they kill an ENTIRE nation ?

If I was the kidnapper I think I would rather kill the soldiers instead of keeping them alive while HUNDREDS die.

But I guess I am still a human being, and can never attempt that.

It is never OK to kill civilians in any war, but as with any war, civilians do die. Israel had requested from Lebanon to stop the Hezbollah from attacking from Lebanon, and they failed to do so. I wish WAR was a totally unnecessary concept, but today it is still needed to defend a country's right to exist. If Israel wanted, they could kill everyone in Lebanon, but they are trying to minimize civilian casualties by waging a ground campaign. Just by the way you worded your question, I can see that you can not reason or comprehend what is happening in the middle east. So I can tell you that when the USA used nuclear bombs on Japan in the 2nd World War, the USA dropped fliers before the bomb, and told the government if they did not surrender, what would happen. They disregarded what the USA said and the fighting increased. So the USA ended the war by fulfilling it's threat. Israel is doing the same. They are fulfilling their threat to Lebanon, and far fewer civilians are dying now than in Nagasaki or Hiroshima. I am sorry that civilians are dying, but they had many chances to stop the fighting before it even started.

First, how can you be sure they wee all civilians? Seeing how Hezbollah does not wear a uniform, how can they be sure? The UN observers had written many emails home telling their families how the Hezbollah ere firing missiles from their locations....less that 300 feet from them, which made them a target. They were powerless to do anything seeing how they were not armed....observers even have a tape of the attack on the Israelis that ended with the 2 being kidnapped. Is it okay? No, but when there are such cowards trying to destroy you, the damage to the innocent is unavoidable. Now, why do you not mention the 200+ Israelis that have been killed by indiscriminate missile firings into towns full of innocents? Hezbollah is not even attempting to target the military? Why is it you don't condemn the leader stating that he will be firing missiles into Tel-Aviv? more innocents being threaten....

I think many of you are mistaken. I think Israel evened up the score a long time ago. Look at the casualty rates. Since early 2000 but before the current fighting, Hizbollah has killed 24 Israeli soldiers and civilians, while the rocket attacks coming out of Gaza has killed 8.
