She is asking to go outside because she needs a break, but if you can, keep her in. She can be spayed when the kittens are about 5 weeks old. Some vets do it on the side so that she can continue to nurse the kittens. She is able to get pregnant again before the kittens are weaned, if I remember my vet tech class correctly. So be cautious.
Also you might want to give her some dry kitten food mixed in with her food for more nutrition for her and then when the babies start to eat it will be there.
Good luck and enjoy

Wait until the babies are weaned and she has totally recovered.
She may want to be outside but that doesn't mean she can go through surgery.
Give her a few months and then ring the vet for an appointment.

Call the vet and ask him for his advise, and make an appointment while you are on the phone. Don't let her outside no matter what! She might come home pregnant again!! Don't wait! Hope you have found good homes for all the kittens! Good luck!

The procedure for a female cat or dog is called spaying. You can get her spayed as soon as possible. I would not let her outside. If something happens to her, then you're stuck nursing kittens.

Ask the vet you intend to have her neutered by...they have all the info on this. You can phone and it won't cost you a visit, and then make an appt according to what they say.
