Canon has a fine digital camera that has 12x zoom and 5 pixels resolution, and takes an 1 or 2 gig SD memory card. Look up Canon Powershot S2 on Amazon.com. Opinions of photographers is excellent and cost is good. II have one and I love it. It hooks up directly to USB port or will print direct. I am not sure about the movies. It does movies, though.

If you want a pocket size digital that meets those requirements then take a look at the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1. ($289-$349) or the Kodak EasyShare V610 ($375-$400). Personally I would recommend the Panasonic.
As where to buy, go to www.dcresource.com which will give you pricing at all the major players as well as good reviews of the cameras. Circuit City has the lowest prices of the big box stores. If you decide to buy from an Internet store just be sure to check the store reviews as some of them have bad reviews.
