im not 21 yet but im assuming because its the only way people can have fun and meet people, those poor souls. Have you friends over at your place! dont waste all your money

In 18 states you can't buy booze at a grocery store, then...
In the other 30 + you can, but, would you do so and go home, dance, play pool, play darts, dance, order good appetizers and still meet new people every time you buy booze?
You choose!!!

I like to go to a bar because of the social aspect involved, but you are right - the drinks are way to over priced and then you have to catch a cab to get home.
I sometimes prefer to have a few red wines at home and chat to a friend either on the net or by phone. Better still. I love to have social drinks at home with friends. However, I just can't justify the prices that bars charge for alcohol. So I BYO!

people go to the bars to mingle meet and make friends, find some drunk hot chicks to take home, watch sporting events with huge crowds of drunken fans, and to dance. If being social isn't your thing then ya stay at home and drink alone. Wait i think that is the beginnig of a drinking problem.
