Are they OK as long as you are younger than a certain age? Were they just invented so that "good" girls won't feel guilty about the naughty things they do with their boyfriends?

I think they're stupid. If you need a ring pre-engagement ring to feel committed, your relationship has problems.

Don't waste your money. They're not worth it. Your commitment to each other should be good enough. Plus, you never know what's going to happen in the future. Promise rings were probably invented for jewelers to make more money from people.

ok listen... so ask yurself what is a promise ring? promise ring is something that supposedly ties you down... dont be tied down you are young and just enjoy what you have... ijm sure u like him and thast no biggie becoo with hiim, but dont take the ring... it will cause more drama than you'lll imagine... even more so if u do take the ring... trust me...dont TAKE IT!!1

Promise rings are stupid. If you are a teen, you know that you arnt going to stay with that girl forever and the ring repersents your promise to stay with her from that point on. They reperesent lies.
