i know its because they need to have the women as muslim for the kids to become musilm. but my question is, why do the kids have to be muslim. why cant they take the faith of the mom?

in secular countries a muslim woman can marry a non muslim.

Muslims believe that Moses and Jesus were prophets of GOD and so they give them full honor and respect. Jews and Christians do not consider Prophet Muhammad as the prophet of GOD. Thus they are unable to give the same respect and honor to him and to his followers. A Jewish or Christian woman with a Muslim husband will be in a much better position than a Muslim woman with a Jewish or Christian husband will therefor A Muslim woman is not permitted to marry a non-Muslim man, even a Christian or a Jew, unless he becomes a Muslim .....SO if non muslim likes to marry muslim women all he needs is to study Islam from authentic Islamic writings(books-tapes-internet sites) he will discover that Islam is the true religion of GOD then if he accepts Islam he can marry the muslim woman ...

It's a regional thing, not a Muslim one. It's about cleric contol. Many Arab clerics are more Jim Jones than true believers in their religion. Their influence wanes when people stop following them. I'm sure there are Muslim women married to Jewish men and vice versa in the United States.

A Muslim woman has to convert the man to Islam fo her to marry him. A Muslim man can marry a Christian or Jew woman, without having to convert her to Islam. But then the kids will follow their fathers religion as he being the head of the family.

There are two problems with Islam that cause this.
First, Muslims consider it a wonderful thing when other people convert to Islam, but it is one of the worst horrors imaginable to have anyone convert from it. That's why you see Muslim clerics in places like Afghanistan calling for converts from Islam to Christianity to be killed and why so few people are willing to openly declare themselves ex-Muslims.
Second, in most sects of Islam, the concept of equality between the sexes is scorned. Men are dominant. Women must totally cover themselves in the presence of men because if a man gets a sexual thought about a Muslim woman, it is deemed the womans fault. If she is raped, it was her fault and by tradition her family can perform an "honor killing." Women in some Muslim countries aren't even allowed to go out in public without a male member of their family along as a chaperone. Single women must obey the commands of their fathers and brothers. Married women must do as their husbands demand.
When you combine these two ideas, you can see why in some sects of Islam, Muslim women are not allowed to marry non-Muslim men, but Muslim men are encouraged to marry non-Muslim women. Wives must obey their husbands in everything.
If the man is Muslim, the wife and children will be Muslim. This is concidered a wonderful way to convert infidels to Islam.
If the man is non-Muslim, the wife and children will be non-Muslim. This forces the woman to convert from Islam, which her family considers to be the ultimate insult to Allah. An "honor killing" is often considered an acceptable form of punishment to them.
Despite what some people will surely say about my comments, I haven't made a single word of this up. Do some research on Islamic honor killings. They are common even in Europe.

Muslim womed can not marry non-muslim men. Islam is way of life, not only religion. Christian man and muslim lady have difference in way of life. Christian man will not be able to take care about her like Islam teaches.
If he converts he can marry her.

because they want all the childern from muslim people to be muslims, that's their religion, and by muslim understanding of law, child will be always same religion as man, so if a muslim woman get married to non muslim, they lose potential muslims - kids

Simplest answer is because our Lord told us to do so.
My mind can think of the reason that it is not allowed because when a non-Muslim (Christian or Jew) girl gets married to a Muslim guy, he or his family will never insult her prophets or God but if a Muslim girl gets married to a Christian or Jewish guy, they of course don't either believe that Muhammed is the last prophet of God or Jesus OR Muhammed are not the prophets of God.

Its religiousness and it has something to do with the same kind of beleifs the Jewish have about being a heathen, if you were not Jewish, It goes back to God saying to Moses about it, interacial marriages. Hey but Jesus said all who consider me reallly and beleive I was from the Father accept the death and ressurection confess than all will be sons of God :) WOOOOOO^%$^ HOOOO man!!!! serious !

the religeon of a kid is by default the parents religion but as he/she grown up he/she can decide abt his/her religion. in islam we say there is no obligation for choosing to be a muslim but in islam we clear the difference between wrong and right.
