lol The answer is yes. I had to laugh at the guilty looking males part cause I can see them hanging their heads and giving that look of abject guilt! roflol
Sorry, anyway you can have more than one father. However a single puppy can not. Once the sperm enters the egg the shell immediately develops a shield that prevents more than that one sperm from entering. You can have one pup from one sperm and another pup from another sperm in the same litter but not one pup with more than one sperm cell. I hope that's clear enough, I can't think of how to explain it better. If you need me to be more precise you can jump on my website and e-mail me directly.

Yes, a female will produce several eggs.
She is in heat for about 21 days, she is most receptive from about the 9th to the 15th day.
Any male that she breeds during her receptive time has to potential to fertilize an egg.
You have noticed when a female is in heat there will be several male dogs following her.
You will always have one that is dominant and he will do the biggest majority of the breeding.
But, while macho man #1 is in a fight with dog #2 ......dog #3 sneaks in for a little action. There isn't much macho man can do about it after the fact.
That is why large breed dogs that have larger litters will often have puppies that look just like the Shepard, the Collie, the Rock, the Bull-Dog, and the Husky that was hanging around her when she was in heat.
Usually one dog (the dominant male) will be the sire to most of the puppies, due to the simple fact he bombarded her with his sperm. Sperm are nasty little beggars, they will kill all the other sperm.....survival of the fittest.
It is a definite fact the puppies can have multiply daddy's out of one litter.

Yes. It is biologically possible for a female dog to be impregnated by more than one dog.

Someone I knew bought a pure bred pup but as the pup matured it became obvious that it was a cross breed. Other puppies in the same litter were without doubt pure bred.

The owner of the cross breed successfully sued the breeder under the Consumer Protection Act The breeder who had constantly insisted that the cross breed was some sort of mutation finally admitted that a stray dog had got onto her property and mated with her brood female which had also been mated to a chosen stud dog.

This all took years to sort out but now dogs can be DNA tested like people and paternity proved.

It is also possible to have your dogs DNA stored for record purposes when registering your dog with the KC.

Not only can a litter of pups be sired by different males, but sme of the pups can be 3 or 4 days younger than the others.

If you think that it is possible that your girl has mated with more than one male during heat then you must have all the pups DNA tested prior to selling (providing that you are selling them as purebred) - otherwise if they turn out to be crossbreeds the pups new owners are entitled to sue you. DNA testing will be an extra expense but it may save you court action in the furture. Good Luck

Yes, it is entirely possible. Since dogs release more than one egg, there can be two different fathers.
Breeders will keep their b!tch(female dog) seperated from all males unless she is being bred. Then only that one male will be allowed near her.
This also applies to cats. And I think it may happen more often in cats.
