I've tried this once already, but my hair is still too dark! Any suggestions to lighten it up so it can be an auburnish color? Something I can add to the henna to turn my hair a more red?

Heena is an old way. Try colors like Revlon or get your hair bleached at a parlour.

You have to lighten it first. Think of the effect you get with a varnish over wood. You see the grain of the wood under the varnish. But it the wood is black and you put a gold tone or red tone varnish over it you will not see the varnish color. You can't see the color that is an overlay if it is lighter than the color under it.

Henna is a waxy - plant based paste that smells like wet alfalfa when mixed. There is nothing you can mix into it to make it do what you are wanting. You will have to do a two step process. Lighten first then apply the henna.

Better yet - go see a real professional and get it done right. It is your hair! Invest in it. It should be worth more than you paid for your jeans.

I do not quite pass judgement on whether or not I like a man or now not centered on his hair colour. There are a couple of men in the market who're fairly stunning that experience darkish hair (like my pleasant man pal for instance)... BUT I've additionally noticeable a few quite UN-stunning darkish haired men too. I've honestly noticeable lovable blonde/mild haired men too. A individual's hair colour does not mechanically lead them to lovable.
