I want to distribute the digital terrestrial feed from my roof aerial around the home, into places that dont have coax cabling installed and I dont want to have to put in cable. Does anyone know of a way of distributing these signals eithere wirelessly or via mains distribution. Video senders arent the answer.

You could try to use a UHF amplifier to supply a local omnidirectional antenna (just for your home). You'd have to shield your roof aerial from the amplified signal somehow. You might then get away with set-top aerials on the other TVs.

It's a difficult problem - especially for people on cable TV, they don't want to pay extra rental for another receiver to view on a second TV - ideally they'd like to be able to re-broadcast the decoded signal on UHF channels to be picked up by the other TVs. Not sure if the neighbours would like it though...

Depends a lot on the quality of your cables and your TV, but usually the RCA cables give you a better, more stable picture, there is less room for noise to get in since it doesn't have the big bandwidth that coaxial cable has. Make sure you have good cables either way, they do make a difference.

Buy a couple more DTV boxes....they are only £25 / £30 each.

It'll be cheaper than any technical solution.

ps. the ONLY ways to send signals for TV are cable or radio - ie. COAX or VIDEO SENDER

Nothing beats the cable, if you don't want to do it, have someone do it for you. There is no other way if you want it to work properly. Get a custom installer and have the walls fished for the custom look.

You can't do it without some kind of transmitter = a video sender!
You are asking the impossible i'm afraid.
