Islamic belief about Jesus can be summed up in these points:

1. Muslims love Jesus & respect him as a major prophet of Islam. Not "mere" prophet or "just" a prophet, rather a very
significantly honored prophet. Mocking about Jesus, disrespecting him or making fun of Jesus in any way is considered serious blasphemy for Muslims. A Muslim may be considered a "Kaafir" for doing that.

2. Muslims also love the mother of Jesus, the Virgin Mary (Maryam in Arabic). We Muslims believe she was a pious and noble woman chosen over all of the women of the world.

3. Muslims believe that Jesus was born miraculously of a virgin mother and no father. His birth is miraculous like the birth of Adam, the first human being, who was created with neither mother nor father.

4. Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the son of God. God is so powerful and self-sufficient that He does not need a son or any kind of partner.

5. In Arabic Bible the name for God is Allah. Therefore all Arab Christian call God Allah as Muslim do as well.

6. Jesus did not die on the cross. Rather, God saved him as his enemies were confused about him. Jesus was taken up by God to Heaven.

7. Jesus is called Isa (pronounced Eesa) in Arabic.

8. Jesus performed miracles by the Will of God, like healing the blind and those with leprosy.

9. Jesus prayed to the same God as all Prophets did, and we Muslims pray to.

10. Jesus will return before the end of the time.

They believe that he was a prophet from God, born of a virgin, but not the son of God because that would make him equal with God. The Islamic faith believes there is no one equal to the Most High.

Ma'am As a a Christian (married male); would I grant yet another thought at the instant here? There are 'logically' a minimum of two different possibilities. bear in mind, a woman's womb facilitates a fetus strengthen for approximately 9 months.(To me; that's the 2d function of the womb). the 1st function (whether she is 'virgin'). probability one million; If God made the physique; on a similar time as mankind would comprehend one million thank you to the womb; ought to God comprehend a 2d direction? 2. on a similar time as a woman is having her era; and 'stuff'' travels from her 'womb' out of the physique, ought to some thing else (distinctly smaller say a cellular length) use a similar direction to shuttle exterior the physique to the womb? thought; the mild of the international created on day one million of advent became into Jesus (discuss with John 8&9). to that end, Jesus already existed earlier his 'beginning' to Mary.

We believe he was a miracle of God sent to mankind as a prophet with the same message as Muhammad (PBUH). The Romans then twisted that message so that little remained. Then God sent Muhammad (PBUH) and promised to protect the Quran, which contained the message that the bible ORIGINALLY contained. We do believe he came from a Virgin, because that is a whole chapter in the Quran (Surah Maryam). He just wasnt the son. All God has to say is "BE" and it is.

But as the difference fm christians,we don't believe that he was son of God(because we believe God doesn't have sons or daughters or mother or father) . And also we believe he is still alive,in a form which we cannot know. Also that he will be back on earth.

Jesus was another prophet of God. Jesus is not God nor son of God. Jesus was a son of virgin Mary (Mariam). Ask some Jews about that.
