not a detox from drugs or alcohol. just a body cleansing detox. ive been eating a lot of junk lately and getting into the habit of doing so. id like to do a clease and start fresh.

try First cleanse you can get it at the health food stores It made for first time users its gentle on your system and the next time you cleanse you go to the next one. I did and felt a lot better. health food stores will aim you in the right direction. I think everybody should do a detox I wish I hadn't started so late.

You hear about celebrities going on detox diets, and people who go into drug or alcohol rehabs are said to be detoxing. So shouldn't a detox diet be a good bet?

Not really. Like many other fad diets, detox diets can have harmful side effects, especially for teens.

First, let's look at the lingo. A toxin is a chemical or poison that is known to have harmful effects on the body. Toxins can come from food or water, from chemicals used to grow or prepare food, and even from the air that we breathe. Our bodies bring in toxins and then process those toxins through organs like the liver and kidneys and eliminate them in the form of sweat, urine, and feces.

cant answer questuon unless you specify substance you were abusing amount length of time abusing you dont get it do you detox is not fun nor is it a cake walk it is painfull time consuming expensive and depressing you will need pzssyc help too depending on what you were using so when you are ready come back and tell us everything then we can help
