again another misinformed supposition, we do not hate each other.

They don't.

People will say they do, but logically that's impossible. If they all worshipped the same God, wouldn't their ideas about him be more similar? There are significant differences between the religions' ideas of God and their doctrines. The concept of a loving God is generally limited to the Christians - the Jewish and Islamic Gods were/are always sending believers into holy wars. Defense of the faith is fine, to an extent, but killing people rather than evangelizing them is hardly loving! The commandment to love one another is from Jesus. Both Jews and Muslims deny his deity, so the commandment doesn't mean anything to them. Those are only a few examples.

Please understand I'm not defending Christianity here! With all the denominations, there's not always much love between Christians, either! Everybody thinks they have the only truth and it frustrates them that the rest of the world doesn't think like them.

Jews are still waiting for the Messiah. Christians believe the Messiah JC already came. Both religions think God favors them and the other has lost favor with God. Muslims worship the Moon God, use parts of the old testament but believe in a different source of knowledge. Really, it's all political, used by a leader at some point or another to pit armies against each other.

Christians, Jews, and Muslims do not worship the same God. Christians worship the Trinity, the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jews only worship God, but they got it all wrong because God made it so that it is only through His son Jesus Christ that they can have a relationship with Him. And the Muslims worship Allah, who is not God. They consider Jesus an ordinary man, or prophet, but us Christians know that Jesus is the Messiah and not a prophet, and it was through His Resurrection that we have salvation. I don't hate anyone because it is a commandment that I love everyone. I don't have to love what they do, but I must love them because God says so. Hopefully all Christians can say that as well so it won't be said that Christians hate Jews and Muslims, because they are supposed to love one another. (I can't take your word concerning your statement that Christians, Jews, and Muslims hate each other when you say that they worship the same God and that is not true)

Your statement is false. They do not worship the same God.

Christians Worship Jesus Christ.

Jewish worship God the Father.

Muslim worship someone called Allah.

"Christian" was found 3 times in 3 verses in the New Testament.

Acts 11:26 - And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Acts 26:28 - Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.

1 Peter 4:16 - Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

First of all Muslims believe that there is a powerful deity named Allah who is far from loving.

There is only 1 God. The Jewish people are decendants from the tribe of Judah. These people were who God chose to spread knowledge of God. So Jews and non-Jews can both believe in God. The only difference is what ancestors you have. God also became man to die for our sins. Those who believe that Jesus was God and that He died for our salvation are saved and have obtained a place in heaven. The "Jewish Faith" that exists today is basically the remaining people from that tribe who refuse to accept that Jesus Christ was the saviour that they have been promised. It doesnt matter what race you are, anyone can believe in God. And by the way, it is written that the Jewish community will eventually be awakened to the knowledge of Jesus being God in the end times.

Muslims hate everyone because that is what Muhammed told them to do.

They're hypocrites, but you can hardly blame them—after all, they did have God as their teacher.

Muslims say that all three religions worship the same God. Christians usually say that Jews and Christians worship the same God, but Muslims worship a different deity. Similarly, I think that Jews view all three Gods as different.

The Old Testament (central to both Christianity and Judaism) is one of the most horrendously violent books ever written. Pick it up and start reading in, say, Judges. Violence, violence, and violence—and all of it at God's command. And then you happen across Moses receiving the ten commandments in Exodus—"Thou shalt not kill" is one of them. God tells his people to kill, and he tells them not to kill. He's a master hypocrite. The Qur'an, too, is fully of contrary messages of love and hate.

A Christian would probably answer your question that they don't hate Jews or Muslims—they love the people, but hate how misguided they are.

Looking at it from outside the Abrahamic perspective, I must say they -all- look pretty misguided.

Dude... your question is right on!!! I wonder the same thing myself. If i remember my Qu'ran and Bible studies, They contain basically the same thing. (Don't know about the Jewish holy book, never got any access to one of those yet). Anyway, I know that the bible continue Jewish holy book story with that of Jesus arrival and the Qu'ran continue it further after Jesus, which is about the arrival of Muhammad. They all preach about the same single entity, the one and Only GOD. So you are right they do worship the same god. They have the same beginning, on genesis, the old testament, and all the origin part. However that's where the similarities end.

Jewish doesn't acknowledge Jesus as the son of God send by God to save humanity and the Christian doesn't acknowledge Muhammad as God's prophet. As for Muslims, they felt that all previous prophets send by God fail in their mission to bring humanity closer to God. And also contain within each religion contain different philosophy and theology that are relevant only to each society that practise it. Culture and custom of that time somehow influence these philosophy and theology. (eg: khoser and halal practise by Jewish and Muslim are basically very similar.)

Because of this difference, they faught each other to prove which is the right religion. Half of this conflict were over Jurusalem. (claim by all parties as holy ground). And this conflict continues to present day as you can see. We hope that all parties will be more tolerant of each other but we might never see any reconciliation on this 3 religion, well not in my life times anyway.

PS: Well fellow Muslim, Jewish & Christian, please accept my apology if my bluntness offend any one of you.

#1 to the first person to answer this.....You are retarded. I am sorry, but every religion at the core has the exact same God. It's how you go about worshipping God that is different. Every religion was the same and it is people that warped them and made the religion what they wanted it to be.

And to answer the main question...I don't know about Jews and Christians but Muslims don't hate Jews or Christians. In fact we are commanded to treat the people of the Book with respect as they too are servants of God....

If people hate each other it is out of fear and bigotry not the religion itself.

worship and hatred are not opposite things. Worship comes from devotion and revereance; hatred comes from sin.

Truthfully, they do not all worship the same God. When the Jews rejected Jesus, the incarnate Savior offered for the sins that should be punished, they ceased to worship the true God. When the Muslims allowed a false prophet to determine their relationship with God they too ceased to worship the true God.
