if you think about it, we all do probably have it all wrong.(assuming you believe that some higher being created us and the earth) because that would mean that there is a being out there that we cannot even begin to fathom much less understand that being's ways. Religion gets out of hand because it is run by men ( human beings in general) and it doesn't matter which one it is....unless you're a buddhist, but I think even their monks have burnt themselves in protests. So if we're wrong then we're wrong. There is not a whole lot you can do about it. But the point is to have a belief or an idea that is not afraid of change and growth, even if you're a devout christian or a shoulin monk. That higher being has much different ways than ours (yes i'm a christian, and a catholic at that) and it says that in the book of psalms. However, I think all belief systems tie together. It took me a long time to learn that you can't grow if you're stuck and stubborn in your ways. the point is, I don't think that anyone has gotten it right yet.

Then I guess we are wrong but the thought of being right at least gives you something to beleive in and that make you a better person all the way around

Wrong about what? Believing in God? Desiring Salvation?

Then if I am wrong, then I have lost nothing. What has the nonbeliever lost if he/she is wrong?

What's so wrong about being wrong? Wrong just means you have more to learn.

If I'm wrong....I know I won't be but hey..it..reminds me of a quote that goes something like this....I'd rather live my life like there is a God to find out there isn't than to live my life like there isn't only to find that there is....Think about......Nothing to Lose!!!

Ah hah, but what if I'm right? Let's just wait until it's too late. We can't really do anything else.

If we're all wrong, then I guess we'll all have plenty of time to sit around and yap about it in hell, huh?
OR....we'll all just be dead, and we won't have to worry about it anyhow =)
