I believe soul is part of self that is divine and eternal. I believe spirit is part of world that is divine and eternal. I believe an infinity, divinity, eternally, one manifests as an infinite four; seed, body, soul and spirit of immeasurable dimensions. Souls choose to construct models that differ because thought, feeling and action possibilities are limited to those made available for souls to choose from by the unconscious minds created by bodies. Everybody has different life experiences. Everyone has a different point of view. Everyone believes about self and world in a different way. Their own way. I say Infinity, Divinity, Eternally One gives you the grace to Love Our Gods Your way. Do as you please. I don't believe in Satan and I reject models of self and world that lead many to believe in a spiritual conflict between a good one in Heaven and an evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth.

There are three bodies,firstly the gross material body that is constituted of material energy, secondly there is the subtle or astral body that is constituted of mind, intelligence and ego, both of these are material, the subtle body creates the next gross body, whatever activities and desires we have in this lifetime are creating the body we will get in the next,if these activities are material or worldly then we get another material body to perfectly match the mentality of the astral or subtle body.
However, beneath the impure covering of the subtle body is the spiritual or eternal body that originally fell from the spiritual world due to misuse of free will, through pure desires and activities this original personality can be once again perceived and experienced, the soul or self has the potency to perceive itself, the spiritual dimension of reality and God.The purpose of human life is to return back to the spiritual world, by performing spiritual activities and taking shelter of a bonafide spiritual master.
The Supreme controller is all attractive & all powerfull, no-one can compete with God seriously, the Devil is only a concept. The misuse of freewill produces the devilish activities which each individual must accept responsibility for as they transmigrate from body to body in the form of Karma or cause & effect.

The Bible says you and the life you possess is the soul. The spirit that dwells in you is and always will be a part of God and when you die it will return to him. Eve wanted to rule over herself and got Adam to follow her. They are both dead forever. I hope you do not mislead anyone else into believing your speculations. There is no truth in them.

I dont know, I have some trouble distinguishing between the 2 personally. For me, it seems that the soul is my psyche, what makes me me... my spirit is what moves me to be better? Thats how I see it anyway.

First you search for absolute TRUTH.
Every one ( human)created by GOD in a unique manner. he have soul, spirit .
He lives and dies.
Soul can not be identified with out ones god given spirit.
