Once you swallow tablets with liquid does it go straight down to your stomach? If so, how come it feels like the tablet is still sitting in your throat? It's weird. Who came up with swallowing tablets anyways? I know there are meds out there that are in liquid form.

look at the anatomy of the digestive system. it will go down your throat, large, and small intestine, and stomach, throughout it will go through your bloodstream then i believe it starts working. but it is good to drink plenty of water
