Take care of their feet first of all. Oiling and packing them helps. Also bandaging them, and using boots helps.
Try not to ride on hard ground too often, it gets hard on their legs. Even if you do the best care, they need a break from it once in a while.

How often do you ride on really hard ground? If you do a lot of the time, then I would suggest putting splint boots on him or polo wraps. Possible having a pad put under his shoe for support will help too. Other than that, there is not really much you can do, except keep an eye on his feet and legs and if anything starts to develop, stop riding him on hard ground as often, give him a break from riding period, call the vet or the farrier if the situation is serious enough. Bedding him down really thick will help his soreness too. feed supplements as need be.

You can wrap their legs but you have to know how to properly wrap or you can actually hurt them more if done wrong.
SPorts medicine boots are a good choice and you just put them on and fasten them. They give nice support to the tendons and such.
Best choice is to not do spped work on hard ground. Speed work is when most injuries occur. If you hold down the speed it will help and you will have less injurys.
