Okay, my female chocolate lab seems to have a gender problem. We have a sharp pei mix and she tries to mate like a male would to a female. Is it because she is in heat. I've never had any problem with any of my other female bitches. Serious answers only please.

i have owned several female labs and they all do this. i looked into it a little and they will do this when they are overly excited. it has nothing to do with sex.

I've seen other bitches do this but only if they learn it from a male dog. Mine never did it for long.

It's nothing sexual. She's just showing the other dog that she is dominant over her. She is the Top Dog out of the two.

Simple dominance thing. She's higher in the pack and is telling your other dog so.

It's a dominance issue. She's trying to show whatever/whoever she "humps" that "she's the boss.

FIRST OFF SHE IS NOT A LESBIAN DOG, LOL IT'S A DOMINANCE THING. EVERY DOG DOES IT MY NEIGHBORS DOG IS A MALE AND HE HUMPS OTHER MALES IT JUST TO LET THE OTHER DOGS KNOW THEY ARE THE BIGGER BETTER ONE.
