Depends on how old you are. When you are in your late 20s, 6 years isn't that big a difference. When you are a teenager, it's huge.

Well that all depends on what the age difference is..You said 6 years which is not bad but if you feel that age plays an important factor in your dating life then thats your decision...But you say you love this person correct? Then age should not step in between you and your happiness and love for that person...
Unless you were under age then yes it might be a problem, but if your not then you should not let age stand in the way as I mentioned before...

U take a class in modern day culture . 6 Years , now a days people get married with an age difference of 35.

Why does it matter the age of the person your not 8. I feel that people are judged to much in society today and if you are in love and this person makes you happy why does age even come into the picture!!!
You know what's right in your heart and you need to go for it and stop second guessing!!!

If you guys are meant to be together, you should wait until age does not matter anymore. For example, Me and BF of 4 years met eachother when I was only 16 and he was 20. We are only 4 years apart but when I was under age we could only be friends. We finally got together when I was 19 and he was 23.

Assuming that you are both adults (18+ years of age) , I don't see why not. You would not be afoul of the law. Six year age difference is not that big of an age gap. He or she isn't old enough to be your parent, so go for it.
