Can anybody suggest a way to rest it? Or what could be wrong with it? We fixed the problem with our electricity now but it just won't start now at all.

Would it be easy to fix? Any help would be appreciated.

Usually a reset button will be on the back near the top, in red.

The washer is usually on a separate breaker in a lot of houses, you may have burnt out the breaker.
