For the two year olds remember that their attention span is very short. Therefore, the activities you do will them will have to be quite lively and occur in rapid succession. I think they would enjoy a story time with puppets, and then have music time. You could teach them songs like "We're going the Zoo," and show a picture of each animal as they sing about it, or have the kids act out how the animal behaves. For the older kids, they might enjoy arts and crafts like making beaded necklaces (although I don't know if the boys would like this too much). You could take the younger ones outside and play duck, duck, goose (this game teaches concentration, anticipation of a command, and physical fitness).

I thought of a game that my mother used to play with us. It's called rock school. You place a mat for each grade. Put a small rock in one of your hands and have the kids guess which hand it's in. If they guess right, they go on to the next game. If not, they stay back a grade. But you have to give each of them a chance to graduate and after each graduate, they should get a graduation present. This can be as simple as a popsicle or a sheet of coloring paper. This should take a lot of time up!

Learning fine motor skills and form a fun way of doing it . Make your plan out to change up 20 minutes . children 's minds are short. Sing happy songs between times and ask them what their favorite games are(most children those ages can express themselves clearly) and be creative with the changing the games and songs to phonics and skills. That's the way I did and it pasted the time away so fast I didn't have enough time to finish the lesson plans. Good Luck. GOD BLESS.

Kids love to be read to, also. Gather them up in a group on the floor and read to them. It's a good way to get them to calm down before nap time, also.
