No such thing as a soul mate. Everything close in conversation, lovemaking, friends, etc. is great. But nothing that intertwines your souls in everyday life, in everything, for always. Sorry, it doesn't exist. The best you can hope for is someone who you will really connect with in many aspects of your lives. Someone you respect and respects you without saying. Above all else, someone you can be truly happy with. This is as close as you get. Everyone has faults, and you both will eventually find those faults in each other and no longer consider each other soul mates. It's a tough lesson I know, but true.

Hon.....you will find more than one soul mate........one at a time that is. If you are fortunate you will just find one and be with him forever....thats what we all want.

We change as we age. My needs in a soul mate changes over the years.

There will be ups and downs....but you will be blessed with someone...don't give up the dream

I thought I did (and I didn't even believe in that type of thing until it happened). Now he's leaving me because he doesn't like wearing condoms when we have sex and I'm allergic to hormonal birth control and my cervix is off-center so I can't use a sponge or diaphram. Basically I'm sexually useless.
