Tomato is a nightshade & is rich in alkaloids. Caffeine, cocaine, morphine & nicotine are also rich in alkaloids. Tomato can remove calcium from teeth & bones & deposit it in tissues where it does not belong causing arthritis, arteriosclerosis, kidney stones, gout, hypertension, migraine & other common ailments. Many people have reported rapid recovery from these ailments when they completely remove nightshades from their diet. Nighshades include potatoes, eggplants, tobacco & chilli peppers.

1) You could be using pesticides and not washing the tomatoes enough.
2) Maybe there's a fungus or something in your soil or garden, and you're not washing the tomatoes enough.
3) Maybe you're allergic to tomatoes.
4) Too much of anything is a bad thing.
5) Tomatoes (and other members of the nightshade family, like potatoes) are known to cause problems with arthritis. And if arthritis, why not other medical conditions?
6) You're delusional, and just have a cold or flu.

I don't think so! I assume that you grew them organically? If not then the pesticide may be making you sick. Of if you picked them off the ground maybe there's something on them... People used to think that tomatoes were poisonous: the cultivated tomato, Lycopersicon esculentum, is a member of the Nightshade Family but the ripe fruit are nontoxic. For most of history people did not eat the tomato. Tomatoes are really good for you! Here's some info on the health benefits of tomatoes:

Odds are no.
Be sure you are washing them so there's no pesticide, bacteria etc..
Tomatoes have a lot of acid, if you have stomach/digestive issues that are sensitive to this, they could cause discomfort
There are cases where people have issues with raw tomatoes but can eat cooked ones. I forget the name of it but I've heard of it.

Do you wash them off? Because if you use pesticide, then that could be making you sick. Tomatoes are good for you, so I wouldn't think it was the tomato itself but somethin on the tomato, if anything.
