it could be a lot of things...u really should see a doctor, more specifically a dermatologist, if u have been in a wooded area it could be poison ivy, oak or sumac...or it could be eczema...but those are only a couple suggestions, definitely go to the doctor but in the meantime put some cortaid or other anti-itch cream on it...hope i helped somewhat.

go to the dr. ~E.R. if you have to~ let them find out what it is...
have you been wearing a watch or any other jewelery? have you had your hands in anything wierd?
they will give you benedryl or some other kind of anti-hystamine, and send you on your merry way.
i wouldn't worry about it too much; just get something to stop the itching and be more comfortable.
BUT.. if it gets worse, or gets hot and/or oozing, seems to be infected, watch out! do not waste any time; there is that MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) now and my friend is in the hospital from it. it started out as a pimple on her forehead, and the next morning when she woke up, she looked like she had been beat up by mike tyson. it is nothing to play with.

Sounds like contact dermatitis!!! Benedryl lotion and injestable tablets will help with the itch, but it will have to run its course (a week and half). If you have it longer, you'll need to contact your doc. Try not to scratch it, as it will leave scaring.

Hydro cortizone cream. Works like a charm. If it persists after a few days, go to the doctor. (A few days after using the cream.)

Have you been around poison ivy? Maybe chiggers?
