Yes, Jesus is the Son of God, as well as the Messiah and King of God's Kingdom.
Trinitarians repeatedly pretend that Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christian. Trinitarians use an artificial, trinity-specific definition of the term "Christian" which excludes anyone who does not believe that Jesus is God Himself, rather than the Son of God. Interestingly, pagans in the first century pretended that Christ's followers were Atheists(!) because the Christians had a somewhat different idea from the pagans about the nature of God.
Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Both secular dictionaries and disinterested theologians acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion.
The Trinitarian arguments are intended to insult and demean Jehovah's Witnesses, rather than to give a Scripturally accurate understanding of the term "Christian".
In fact, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with preaching about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all the times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"
(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.
(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”
(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name
So why do anti-Witnesses try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications? Because anti-Witnesses recognize that it is the preaching work that makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded

Hi Mast, yes Jesus is the Son of God and even the unsaved, unlearned, heathen Bible bangers from the temple knew more than the Watchtower Society knows today, when Jesus said He was the Son of God, the religious leaders picked up stones to stone Him because He had made Himself equal with God! The Jehovah Witnesses say they represent God and don't even have the insight the heathen of Jesus's day had!! Go Fish!! Here is a few more thoughts and thanks for the question!
As far as the trinity goes the word is not in the Bible but neither is french fries, car tires, baseball, grandma, grandpa, on and on, just because it doesn't mention a word doesn't mean the Bible doesn't teach it. People can't understand how God can be one and be three at the same time. One means united, agreed, same willed, it does not mean one person, a man and wife are one flesh, but not one person, remember the natural cannot comprehend the things of God so explain it away, (rather try to explain it away!) Psalms 110:1 is the verse Jesus referred the religious leaders to, (those people are still alive today),
because they didn't believe in more than one person being God at the same time either. Jesus asked them a simple question about the Christ and whose son would he be. They replied David, which they were right, Jesus has them now. He asks them how that is possible because Psalms 110:1 has the Lord (Heavenly Father) talking to (my Lord) Messiah which is Christ and telling Him that the kingdoms of this world will become his footstool. David is relaying this account by inspiriation. Jesus asks a very profound question which shuts up the scoffers for good and may they shut up for good our modern day scoffers as well. Here was Jesus's final question to those religious doubters and scoffers, if the Messiah is David's son by birth how then could David call Him Lord? God has always been eternal, how could God be a descendant from a mortal man? There is two Lords in Psalms 110:1 , that is why Jesus who is the best Bible teacher that ever lived pointed that out to us. billy, Isaiah 62:3

Jesus Christ absolutely is the SON of God.....and NOT God himself. The Watchtower Society fully agrees with that, so I don't know what you're talking about when you say they "hacked" something up. It's very good that you, even in using the flawed King James Version can see that Jesus is NOT God.
Jehovah's Witnesses have ALWAYS taught Jesus to be God's Son, as the Bible says. False religion will try and twist and distort the scriptures into claiming that Jesus is God. They have no shame.
The "Jesus of the Bible", as some will put it, was created BY God, and thus is NOT God himself. The Bible makes that point crystal clear for those wishing to learn the truth in scriptures such as Colossians 1:15 and Revelation 3:14. People such as jethrojimbob and others will try and spread lies as truth, as part of their following of Satanic lies and deceptions.

I think a better question for Jehovah's Witnesses would be, "Can you be saved from your sins outside of the Watchtower organization?"
Yes, Jehovah's Witnesses believe Jesus is God's Son. But their definition of the word son in this case means "person created by God." The "Jesus" of the Watchtower is a created being, not the Creator Himself as the Bible teaches.
Jehovah's Witnesses are bound by their organization to believe what it teaches and they have no hope for salvation outside of the organization's walls. If they openly question the official teachings and voluntarily leave they are eternally doomed.
Christ, to the Jehovah's Witness, is not the only Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is part of the equation for the Jehovah's Witness, yes, but you must understand the importance of the Watchtower organization to understand why people like the poster above me cannot accept anything but what is taught at watchtower.org.
But then again, a few Jehovah's Witnesses do leave the organization and find hope and salvation in Jesus alone. You can listen to some of their stories at the link below.

Yes, Jesus is the son of God. Jesus is not God himself. Never does the Bible ever say that Jesus and God are the same, only that they are of like mind, standards, and goals. Further, the bible states that no man has ever seen god, yet on many occasions the bible says that people beheld Jesus. Jesus himself said that he was not greater than God, and right after Jesus' baptism, God said "This is my son, whom I have approved...". Hope that answers your question.
I'm not sure what experience you've had with Jehovah's Witnesses, but it has always been our stand that Jesus is the son (first creation) of God.

My mother is a witness and even I can answer this question!
Yes, Jesus THE Christ is the Son of God. I say "the Christ" because Christ is a "title" meaning "the anointed" or the "the one meant for kingship." This is done with Holy Oil by placing a dot on the forehead to all kings. Since Jesus, THE SON OF GOD was a direct descent through his adopted father and his mother and inherited the throne EQUALLY through BOTH, then he was King of the Jews, LITERALLY as well as Physically.
Jesus' coming was foretold many times in the O.T. and is not to be confused with his Father, Jehovah/Yahweh (both are correct, although Jehovah is the more "anglicized" version), therefore Jehovah is more proper for English speaking people. MOST PEOPLE are confused because Jehovah's Witnesses DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE TRINITY, so they "think" ah, they don't believe in Jesus. WRONG! Jehovah's Witnesses KNOW that without Jesus Christ and his SACRIFICE, NO ONE would have a chance at Immortal OR Eternal Life. NO ONE.
So, Jesus Christ is ALL IMPORTANT to Jehovah's Witnesses, AFTER Jehovah himself. After all, even Christ himself prayed TO HIS FATHER and said, "the Father is greater than I am."
So, to clear this up, you PRAY TO JEHOVAH THROUGH JESUS CHRIST HIS SON (without who no one would be saved or be able to speak to God in prayer!). So not ONLY is Jesus, God's son, but he is the ONLY way to get to God in prayer.

I would have to say that every Jehovah's Witness will tell you that they believe the Bible teaches that Jesus is the son of God.

First of all, if you were humble about learning the "accurate knowledge" from the bible, then you would be anwered. Yes, Jesus is the son of God, but I won't give any evidence to you, scripturally, since you already look as though you want to argue.
