what does video games have that the world doesn't... i mean boys can barlly go 1 day let alone a half a day without video games. my real question that im wanting to you to answer is whats the differents between the real world and video games? What is so adiccting? can anyone give me an answer that would just blow me away with THATS WHAT I"M SAYING...????????

Women (girls) generally find the greatest fulfillment in developing relationships, other things too, but the most from personal interaction.
Men (boys) tend to get the greatest fulfillment from accomplishment, along with many other things, but task completion(winning, beating, etc) is usually the greatest . So completing a task in a video game brings a mental/emotional reward, as sense of accomplishment. Sports play the same roll, and guys don't even need to be a participant. If "their" team wins then there is a level of personal achievement gained vicariously through an others accomplishment. If they find more satisfation from developing relationships then they are usually gay......... just kidding.

video games can simulate real life situations on a TV screen right in front of you in the cumfiness of your home.Like grand theft auto for example( A personal favourite of mine).... Some are really addicting because they are challenging or are just popular. The fact that you can kill people in the game without having to suffer the consequences of doing it in real life. have a footbal match with 7 other friends in FIFA 2006 or just a normal driving game like need for speed carbon.All are addicting and some require hard work in order to achieve a certain level in the game or status.For example ....Runescape a game which requires the person to earn his own money and fight alot of other players... which in turn wastes loads of time.In real life you cant do all these things like play multiplayer car racing.. and kill people ( for 17 and over i guess).That is the bsaic concept

the genuine distinction between the genuine worldwide and video games and what makes boys so addicted to them is that throughout video games ppl could be something. I recommend somebody could be a dorky nerd who never gets something to ensue to them and that they never have a raffle to be favourite or something yet in video games they have a completley different existence. A dork could be a superhero, a expert activities participant, or a alien or guy killing ripped guy.

Video games allow you live a life you don't have at home. It allows you to escape the frustrations you have in you're life and just have fun. They are addicting because they portray a fun and exciting scenerio for players to play out. And its not just boys, I'm a fem and love video games.

I have an XBOX 360 in my room and I only play it for about 3 hours a week it's something entertaining to do if you are bored would you rather watch re-runs on TV or try and win the superbowl?

games let you do things that you cant or wont do in real life. like in grand theft auto. go play that for 5 minutes and you will see what i mean.
