Do any of you sit and wonder why you see so many questions from young people involving things they should know about and sex and oral sex?

I see this on here and wonder where their parents are and why they are on the computer 24/7 asking these questions instead of being taught by their parents. It frightens me at times.

yeah, i totally agree with ya on that one. some of these kids are really young and i think back to when i was at that age. i was still riding bikes worrying about having to go inside when it got dark outside, at 10 and 11 years old. sex was not even a thought in my mind during that time.
this is one of those cases when sex education should of had a age limit on it.
years ago they use to down grade parents that put their kid in front of a tv to keep them occupied, technology has changed and now the computer is the babysitter in today's world. they put parental blocks on tv, why can't the parents do the same for their kids computer?....and some people wonder why their baby is having a baby?
kids today have too much knowledge/experience and access to information at very young ages and that's really scary.

Well, I am 19 years old. We never had a "sex-ed" class or anything to help in any way. I know some schools have them. Maybe it's just because our school is so small. The only question I have read that me think was from a 13 year old girl that was worried about being pregnant. Thats kind of scary. I had like 90 people in my freshman class, by the time we made it to graduation we were down to 64, and probably about 10-15 of the people that dropped out were because they had a baby. I think every school should have sex ed class. I think it would help alot of people out.

Realistically, not all parents are comfortable talking to their kids about topics like oral sex. They're probably passing on the minimum information about reproduction. I agree the internet isn't the best place to be getting that kind of information either. It used to be some kid in the school yard. Kids are naturally curious, especially in the teenage years, and adults tend to withhold information from them because they want the kids to stay innocent. Often this seems to have the opposite result. Schools can't fully take over parent's job, because political correctness prevents them from teaching good traditional values.

Excellent question! And no, no one is going to ask parents (saying the parents have the right answers anyhow) so why don't we teach these things in school? I've been through high school sex ed and it has nothing to do with anything relevent. No mention of condoms/prevention at all. Think on this one: for all those kids who are tryin to educate themselves, how many others don't give a sh*t?
