I would only recommend breast augmentation as a last resort. If you are married, your husband should base his love on you and not the current looks of your breasts.

Here are my suggested drawbacks of implants:
1) Cost. This is not a cheap surgery and it generally is not covered by most insurance.

2) Health Risk. There are potential short term and potential long term health risks with this type of surgery. Not only is it a painful recovery but if the surgeon accidentally makes a mistake you could be in for several more surgeries. If the saline leaks from the pouch down the road, you are facing yet another painful surgery. There is always the possibility (some will say probability) that you would need to go back for another surgery 10 - 20 years down the road.

3) Scars. Sometimes the scars do not fade completely away. Some ladies are very self-conscious of their scars. The use of Vitamin E oil (or even better, HBOT therapy) may help with the scarring but why put yourself in that position?

Have you tried asking your doctor about healthier alternatives?

I hope that you will save your money and avoid the breast implants but either way, I wish you all the best.

Get your breast enhancement surgery in India.Cosmetic Surgery (including facelift/ breast enhancement tummy tuck./lipo) is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star .

My cousin got her cosmetic surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results.sHe is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company. She paid just 30% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. .hope this helps.I think she paid only 8000$ for the tummy tuck and liposuction surgery for which she was quoted 22000 $ in USA.
