My boyfried decided to be stupid and suck on my cheek. We weren't even fooling around, he was just being dumb. This ended up with a large purple mark on the side of my cheek bone. It happened 3 days ago, and I've been using lots of makeup but it is still obvious, and many people think I've been punched.

And suggestions as to help heal/cover the mark?

p.s.- yeah, on the cheek.
He jokingly said, "I'm gonna give you a hickey!" and sucked my cheek. He didn't do it for that long, but I have really fair, delicate skin that bruises easily.

Ice helps when the mark first pops up. Try rubbing the spot in a circular motion when you put your face cream on at night. It will help dissipate the blood that's in the mark from the broken blood vessels. As for concealer, use a thick one for blemishes, not a thin one for under eyes. Put on foundation first, dab on concealer, then apply powder to set. Tap on a powder blush to hide any underlying marks that still show through. Hope that helps. My hubby, then a new bf, gave me a hickey that was HUGE the day before I met his mother and he took me to a family reunion...I looked like I'd been attacked by a rabid squirrel...why do they do that???

use a lipstick cap
take the cap and place it on the hickey
twist and pull off
do it so u hear it kinda pop when u get it off ur cheek
its gonna be a lil red and it might hurt a lil bit
but it actually makes it fade faster
ur welcome in advance!

you should use, ice, or a eco-friendly colored concealor because the golf eco-friendly will relfect the gentle and make the bruise a lot less seen Or if both fail, placed on a scarf for a lengthy time period, it is what I had to do aha
