How do you recover the document. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

it may have backed up automatically, or created a tmp file.. do a search for all docs like this..go to search on your computer and type in *.doc this will bring up all doc files on your system..good luck ..been there.. know the heartbreak. Similarly you can do a search for all of your temp files..just type in *.tmp and hit search

Search for ~*.* Search the entire computer. That is a tilde period star period star. Make sure you click Advanced Options and show hidden files and settings. This will show you all the temporary files you were working with but weren't saved.

Go to the start menu and click on search. Click on all files and folders and then type in system restore. Click on system restore. Click on the time and date that your computer last saved to restore it to where it was at that time. Your work should be there where you left it. Good luck!!

You cant recover it if you didn't save it, sorry to say, your document is gone!

i use microsoft word....but that sucks...

good luck on trying to recover it.
