Certainly. While their sense of time is certainly not the same as adult humans (seconds, minutes, hours etc.) it can be compared to that of a toddler. They know when it is time to do certain things because it is that time of day but also they have their own internal rhythms which measure al long time or a short time. They do not so much track weeks or such though. Think of a two year old it can be a long time since you've seen someone if it was a week as short time if it was a few hours almost no time if it was minutes. SO simply yes.

Yes and so do cats. Two stray cats, on my street make a path together for the last house on the street where they show up at 7:30 on the dot, and are fed dry catfood and milk every evening. They finish it and go right back where they came from.

Yes they do, I came home sick from work yesterday and instead of barking the minute I walked in I caught the two in the crates sleeping, only the one not crated greeted me at the door like normal. I'm glad I caught them sleeping though, if they were as hyper and barking all day the way they do when I normally come home my neighbors would probably complain.

Oh yes I do belive so. Mine tell me when it is time to eat in the mornng .. Also time to go to bed. Dogs are I think smarter than most people.. They can tell the sounds of different cars .a mile away. If I just watch them I can tell when I,am going to have company, who the company is. Also if my dog dosent like someone, theres a good reason why... People who don,t like dogs .Don,t like people....

I think they do, but they don't know how to keep track of time. Everytime they see their owner(s), it's a happy day for them already. Being petted, loved, hugged, & played... time to them, probably may seem endless.
Also, I think they know when the time comes. Say like, their age. They may know that they are getting old, so they cannot do the things they normally do when they were young.
I don't know about this, but.. when it is night time, I go to bed and I usually see my doggy sleep when I sleep, too. So, I think they understand that there's day and night.

I guess they do. Cesar Millan (The Dog Whisperer) says that whenever you leave a dog alone he thinks that you're never coming back that's why they get excited when you come home because they're like damn I thought I would never see you again!!

yes they do, but they relate it with the activities that go on around them on a regular basis. My dog knows exactly when her walk is at nine. when its time to eat and when i am about to wake up in the morning. Animals understand things that are repetitive.

When I was a kid my beagle would meet me after school. Somehow he always knew the right time to arrive.
Many animals know feeding time and recognize to go home at sunset.
