Might not happen. If you bring it up, he'll feel pressured and may withdraw from you more. If you don't, well... yeah.
And if he was like this at the beginning of your relationship, you should have known what you were getting into.

Some men are really good guys but when it comes to affection you'll have to write them a "to-do-list". They usually don't need a lot of affection so they don't know understand why you do. Tell him what you want step-by-step and if he loves you and wants to make you happy he'll do what you want. He just really doesn't have a clue.

There's no way he can know what's going on if you don't tell him... Communication is important and sometimes guys have a different idea than what you're thinking. Just ask him.
